Red Butte Canyon Research Natural Area Vacations from $313

I did a 3-day snowboarding trip to Park City, UT, and chose to stay at Silverado Lodge in Canyons Village. I enjoyed my stay at this property. The room was aesthetically pleasing, clean, spacious, and the price was very reasonable for the location. This property is more of a ski lodge versus a hotel. A few differences from a regular hotel: * No breakfast service: not a big deal for me. There are a few options in the village. * No room service: This would have been nice on the first night of my stay, since I arrived late in the evening (~8:30pm). However, this was not a big deal breaker. I rarely use room service on vacation, and it was a short drive to find food in Park City. * No daily room cleaning service: this was again not a big deal for me, since I was only there a few days. I actually prefer this. You can, however, request a room cleaning a day or so in advance of the time you want the cleaning. A couple of other nice amenities were (1) the ski check at the shop in the lobby area of the property, and (2) the free shuttle that runs throughout the village with pickups/drop-offs every 10-15 minutes. The shuttle takes you to the Gondola, so that you can hit the slopes. Please note that it if you do stay in Canyons Village, it takes several lift rides and quite a bit of time to get over to the Park City Resort side of the mountain…unless you drive to the Park City side and take a lift from there. All in all, I enjoyed my stay here, and would recommend this lodge to others.

The property is fine, safe and clean - however, it's quite old and run down, depending one the price, it was not a good value for money - Expedia doesnt list it as a time share property which runs from friday to friday so if you have different days you may be in 2 separate rooms/reservations, the property manager was kind enough to fix it but Expedia didnt seem to be bothered by this error.

Beautiful location. Great fitness room! Bed wasn’t very comfortable. It would have been nice if the room had a chair.

My stay was ok. The staff was friendly and I was able to check in without issue. The linens were a little dirty: hair & stains. I was near the front desk and I could hear the morning crew in the lobby as they talked and talked. Kind of annoying. No breakfast in the mornings that I saw. Although a food desert, the area around the hotel was ok. I'd stay there again, but not near the lobby.
